Emma Beroske

Junior Consultant / Analyst

Emma Beroske joined studio Gear Up as a Junior Consultant / Analyst in October 2023. With her background in sustainable development and a passion for social and environmental justice, she has a strong drive to accelerate the circular economy transition and contribute to a fossil fuel free world.

During her time in academia, she developed the necessary vocabulary and tools to understand complex and intersectional sustainability issues. With this knowledge in mind, she concentrated her efforts in studying solutions that address sustainability challenges on global scales and in metropolitan areas.  She gained valuable insights into urban rooftop farming initiatives while writing her thesis on their sustainability potential to address the myriad of challenges cities are facing. Later, she gained consultancy experience as part of the SDG traineeship at the SDG House in Amsterdam. There, she helped with conducting market research for the start-up Syllucid to achieve their goal of creating a more fair and sustainable electronic industry.

With her critical thinking and intersectional perspective Emma hopes to help accelerate the energy transition and create positive impact as part of the studio Gear Up team.
